Why is Qingming Festival on the Gregorian calendar?

Qingming Festival is also one of the 24 solar terms. The 24 solar terms are all divided according to the Gregorian calendar. The Gregorian calendar, also called the solar calendar, is based on the movement period of the Earth's revolution around the sun: one circle of the Earth around the sun is one year. The "Gregorian calendar" we use now is a type of solar calendar.
The 24 solar terms are embedded in the lunar calendar. As early as the Shang Dynasty, the ancients had four solar terms: mid-spring, mid-summer, mid-autumn and mid-winter. Later, the ancients added more solar terms according to the laws of seasonal changes. By the Qin and Han Dynasties, the 24 solar terms were basically finalized.
The change of four seasons is caused by the revolution of the earth around the sun. We define every 15° rotation of the earth as a solar term, so the 24 solar terms are basically evenly distributed in the Gregorian calendar, reflecting the change of the four seasons. Since the orbit of the earth around the sun is elliptical, the number of days between each two adjacent solar terms is not necessarily equal.
In essence, the 24 solar terms were established based on the Gregorian calendar, and the Gregorian calendar belongs to the Gregorian calendar, so the 24 solar terms coincide with the Gregorian calendar; for example, the Qingming Festival is always around April 5th of the Gregorian calendar (4th, 5th, 6th), and the Winter Solstice is always around December 22nd of the Gregorian calendar, but the dates of the lunar calendar do not match up every year.
