④ If misfortune outweighs good fortune, it will only be offset when there is virtue. Follow what is appropriate and not what is taboo. If there is no virtue, follow what is taboo and not what is appropriate.
⑤ If misfortune comes with misfortune, follow the precautions instead of the appropriate ones when encountering virtue; if misfortune comes without it, be cautious about everything;
⑥ When disasters repeat themselves, even when one encounters virtue, one will still be cautious about everything.
