How are those who died on Christmas? What are the considerations for family members after death?
People die every day in the world. Some may die due to accidents, but most people die of natural causes. In fact, not only do happy events require good days, but days of death also have good and bad days. So, are people who die on Christmas good? What are the considerations for family members after death?

How are those who died on Christmas?

Whether it is good for people who die on Christmas depends mainly on whether the deceased died of natural causes or an accident. If it is an accidental death, then it is not good. If it is a hoped-for natural death, then there is nothing bad about it. After all, birth, aging, sickness and death are part of the laws of nature. Note:
1. The rules commonly followed by folk customs are: sunrise on the same day, or on the third, seventh, or forty-ninth day. These ancient folk customs are implemented in accordance with the laws and regulations formulated by the royal family in the feudal era. The funeral rites for the emperor, ministers, officials, and even scholars, farmers, merchants and artisans have fixed rules and must be carried out strictly in accordance with these rules.
Modern people have abolished these rules, but still maintain the ancient folk customs, such as three days, five days, or seven days. The funeral is held on the day of death because retrospectively it is found that there are no auspicious days and times in the near future, so it is unlucky for future generations. When asking a fortune teller to check the date after death, they usually choose an auspicious day three days later, not the 7th or 8th. If it is the 7th or 8th, they will check later. However, use 5th or 7th day after death, as there is a saying in people's livelihood that one should not lift the body on the 7th or 8th day, and should not bury the body on the 8th.

What are the considerations for family members after death?

1. Children should not participate in entertainment activities
In ancient times, when parents died, their children would generally observe a three-year mourning period. During this three-year mourning period, they were not allowed to get married or hold any other celebrations.
2. Avoid visiting relatives and friends, especially attending weddings.
Within one hundred days after the death of a direct relative, it is best to stay at home and observe mourning. Unless necessary, do not travel, visit relatives and friends, etc., so as not to bring your sadness to others. It is best not to attend happy events, especially weddings, business openings, celebrations of the birth of a baby, etc.
3. It is taboo to use satin fabrics for the deceased’s clothing
Old people are accustomed to calling the clothes they wear after death "funeral clothes", and after they turn 60, some elderly people start preparing funeral clothes. The number and texture of funeral clothes are very particular. The number of pieces is usually odd such as five, seven or nine, but not even; silk is often used as the material, because "silk" and "chou zi" are homophones, implying many children in future generations, while satin is taboo, because "satin" and "duan zi" are homophones.
