After hearing this, Cixi immediately issued an edict, ordering Xiletai to return to Yehe immediately, with a deadline of half a month to cut the dragon vein, without any mistake. Xiletai received the order and did not dare to delay. He jumped on his horse and rode to Yehe overnight. When old Kasanda heard that Xiltai had returned from the capital so soon, he thought there was some happy news. After calling for a while, Xiletai finally woke up. He said to Gasanda, "Father, because of your auspicious news, the Buddha has blamed you and given us half a month to dig up the dragon vein, otherwise all of Gasanda will be in trouble!" When old Gasanda heard this, he broke out in a cold sweat. The next day, Gasanda selected two hundred strong young men to dig for the dragon veins. Unexpectedly, the pickaxe only left a white mark, and after digging for a whole day, not much was dug out. The next day, another two hundred strong young men were brought in, but by the evening, there had not been much progress. Later, it was the old Mafa in the village who came up with a solution. He asked the carpenters and bricklayers to build a Sun Temple on the eastern ridge and a Moon Temple on the western ridge overnight. Gashanda sent another man on horseback to Beijing to report the case, saying that Yehe had cut off the dragon vein and built two temples to suppress the earth dragon, so that the earth dragon would never be able to reach Zhushan.
