When Lü Meng heard this, he immediately said, "I am so busy with military affairs that I don't have time to study. In the past, I didn't study, but I still led the troops to fight, didn't I?" Sun Quan smiled and replied, "If you are busy, you are not busier than me, are you? Since I crossed the Yangtze River, I have found time to read "Records of the Grand Historian", "Book of Han" and various military books. You are not busier than Cao Cao, are you? Cao Cao often read books when he led his troops to fight, and he liked reading more and more as he got older. Liu Xiu, the founding emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty, often kept books in his hands. These are all well known. Reading and not reading are very different.
