The Hani people’s national festival in June is called “Kuzaza”, which falls on June 26th of the lunar calendar, so it is also called “June Year”. June is also a joyous festival, which is called "Kuzhaza" in the Honghe region. The date is usually around June 24th and the festival lasts three to six days. During the festival, each village kills cattle to offer sacrifice to the "Autumn House", and the beef is distributed among households to offer sacrifice to their ancestors.
