It’s not enough to just bow a few times. That’s not the way it works. 7. It is the same with burning incense and making a wish. It is not burned for the Bodhisattva or the gods. This is the incense of precepts and concentration. It is burned for yourself. You should sincerely repent for the bad things you have done in the past, learn from them, and stop doing evil and cultivate yourself. |
