Old Nanjing people from southern Jiangsu and Zhejiang have the custom of brewing Bailu rice wine. In the old days, when Bailu came every year, every family in the countryside of Jiangsu and Zhejiang would brew rice wine to entertain guests, and people would often bring Bailu rice wine to the city.
