Wearing a wedding hairpin, building a house, repairing, breaking ground, purchasing property, breaking ground and building embankments; releasing water, seeking medical treatment, taking up a post, moving, moving into a new house, installing incense, traveling, and erecting pillars. Such a large amount of activity was a huge burden for the emperor, so when the emperor was old and frail, he usually did not pay homage in person, but sent princes or princes to perform the ceremony on his behalf.
The discipline requirements at the memorial service are extremely strict. The emperor often issued edicts that accompanying officials must be pious and disciplined, not be late or leave early, not cough or spit, not walk around or make noise, not allow idle people to peek, and not disrupt order. Otherwise, no matter who it is, they will be severely punished.
After the sacrifice, according to the regulations, meat must be distributed to relevant officials, which is called "Ban Zao".
