1. Tianchi Lake

2. Internal disk

It is the rotating disk next to the outside of the compass. There are many concentric circles printed on the inner disk, and each circle is called a layer. Each layer is divided into different equal parts. Some layers have more grids, some have fewer grids. The least is only eight grids, and the layer with the most grids has 384 grids. Each grid has a different character printed on it. There are many types of compasses, some have more layers, some have fewer layers. The most has fifty-two layers, and the least has only five layers.

3. External Market

The ten lines of the celestial center are required to be perpendicular to each other. A newly purchased compass must be calibrated with its outer disk before use.

The most useful part of the compass is the magnetic needle in the middle. The inner disk outside the Tianchi is often made of steel, and the bottom is usually white. A red straight line is often drawn underneath, with a dot drawn at one end and a red line strung through it. When using a compass, both hands are generally used. At this time, you should separate your feet slightly and place the compass in front of your chest. The purpose is to keep the compass level and avoid imbalance front to back or left to right.
When actually using it, the fishing line on the compass should be aligned with the four directions of front, back, left and right in the house. If it is inaccurate and deviation occurs, it will be difficult to get accurate measurement results. After fixing the position of the cross fish thread, use the thumbs of both hands to rotate it. When the inner disk starts to rotate, the Tianchi in the middle will also rotate along with it.
