The "Record of the Samantabhadra Sutra on Prolonging Life" points out that Samantabhadra Bodhisattva possesses the incredible power to prolong life. Samantabhadra Bodhisattva is a symbol of courtesy, virtue, and great vows, and symbolizes truth. He guides his actions with wisdom and verifies his wisdom through actions. He advances in both understanding and practice to fulfill the wishes of those who seek Buddhahood, so he is also called "Great Action Samantabhadra Bodhisattva."
