What are the four major evil spirits in Feng Shui?

What are the four major evil spirits in Feng Shui?

Introduction: There are often some professional terms in Feng Shui, such as Huangquansha. The so-called Huangquan Sha in Feng Shui, judging from the elements that constitute it, is naturally related to "water", including the position, shape, size, etc. of water; judging from the consequences of its formation, Huangquan Sha is obviously a very evil Sha, which can cause financial loss at the very least and loss of population at the worst. Therefore, today I will roughly summarize what the Yellow Springs Evils are mentioned in Feng Shui. For reference only! Feng Shui terminology is important knowledge in Feng Shui. Let’s take a look at it below.

1. Eight Evils Yellow Spring:

The mantra goes "Kan dragon, Kun rabbit, Zhen mountain monkey, Xun chicken, Gan horse, Dui snake head, Gen tiger, Li pig are evil spirits, if one of them occurs in your house or tomb, it will be bad luck."

Interpretation: The Eight Evils and Yellow Springs are mainly discussed in relation to the eight directions of “Gan, Dui, Li, Zhen, Xun, Kan, Gen, and Kun”, and these eight directions here actually refer to the twenty-four mountain directions of “Gan, You, Wu, Mao, Xun, Zi, Gen, and Kun”. For example, "Kan" or Zi belongs to the water element, while "Long" or Chen belongs to the earth element. Earth controls water, so when the house faces Zi, if water comes from Chen, it will violate the Eight Evils Yellow Springs and is unlucky. Similarly, "Kun" belongs to the earth element, while "Rabbit" or Mao belongs to the wood element. Wood overcomes earth. Therefore, when the house faces Kun, if water comes from Mao, it will violate the Eight Evils Yellow Springs and is unlucky. And so on for the rest.

2. White Tiger Yellow Spring:

The formula goes like this: "Gan, Jia, Kan, Gui, Shen, and Chen mountains, the White Tiger will turn to Ding Wei; if there are Li, Ren, Yin, and Xu, the flowing water in Hai Palace will cause worries; Zhen, Geng, Hai, and Wei mountains are strange, but it is not good if the water flows in Shen; if there are Dui, Ding, Si, and Chou, the White Tiger will bully Yi and Chen; Kun and Yi palaces should not offend Chou, as water will definitely kill men; Gen and Bing are worried about meeting Li, and Xun and Xin are in trouble when meeting Kan.

Interpretation: 1. Kan, Li, Zhen and Dui actually refer to Zi, Wu, Mao and You among the twenty-four mountains. 2. White Tiger and Yellow Spring mainly discuss "house orientation", "opening the door" and "releasing water". 3. Taking "Gan Jia Kan Gui Shen Chen Shan, the White Tiger turns to Ding Wei" as an example, "Gan Jia Kan Gui Shen Chen Shan" refers to the "house direction", which means that the White Tiger and Yellow Spring of these house directions are at "Ding" and "Wei". In other words, the houses in this house direction should not "open doors" or "release water" at "Ding" or "Wei", otherwise they will offend the White Tiger and Yellow Spring and suffer disasters.

3. Earthly Branches Huangquan:

The mantra goes "Mao, Chen, Si, and Wu are afraid of Xun Palace. Do not meet Wu, Wei, Shen, You, and Kun. You, Xu, Hai, and Zi are in Gan Palace. Zi, Chou, Yin, Mao, and Gen will suffer misfortune."

Interpretation: 1. The Earthly Branch Huangquan also mainly discusses "house orientation", "opening the door" and "releasing water". 2. It needs to be emphasized that the "Gan Palace", "Xun Palace" etc. mentioned here do not refer to the palaces of the Eight Trigrams, but to the "Gan", "Xun", "Gen" and "Kun" of the twenty-four mountain directions. 3. Taking “Mao, Chen, Si and Wu are afraid of Xun Palace” as an example, it means that the house with “direction” as “Mao”, “Chen”, “Si” or “Wu” is not allowed to “open the door” or “release water” at “Xun”, otherwise it will violate the Earthly Branch Huangquan and the consequences will be disastrous.

4. 84 Yellow Springs:

The mantra goes like this: "Geng, Ding and Kun directions are the Yellow Springs, don't talk about Geng and Ding in Kun direction; avoid going to Yi and Bing in Xun direction, Yi and Bing must guard against Xun water first; in Jia and Gui directions, worry about seeing Gen, Gen meeting Jia and Gui will bring disasters; Xin and Ren Gan roads are the most taboo, Gan directions will also bring disasters to Xin and Ren".

Interpretation: 1. Eight Four Yellow Spring is also known as Eight-Road Four-Road Yellow Spring. This evil is taboo to have water coming from relevant directions, opening doors, and releasing water. 2. Taking "Geng Ding Kun direction is Huangquan, don't talk about Geng Ding in Kun direction" as an example, it means that the house facing Geng Ding direction should not have doors opened, water released or see incoming water in Kun direction; conversely, the house facing Kun direction should not have doors opened, water released or see incoming water in Geng Ding direction, otherwise, it will violate the Huangquan and encounter unexpected disasters. 3. The calculation method of Eight-Four Yellow Spring: Taking Geng direction as an example, Geng direction is sitting on the mountain of Jia, and Jia wood is born in Hai, bathed in Zi, crowned in Chou, appointed in Yin, emperor in Mao, declined in Chen, sick in Si, died in Wu, buried in Wei, extinct in Shen, fetus in You, and nurtured in Xu, that is, the tomb and extinction of Jia wood are between Wei and Shen, which is Kun. And so on.
