When worshipping ancestors on Qingming Festival, you need to pay attention to some Feng Shui matters. Feng Shui is a professional term in Feng Shui. (1) The monument cannot be moved around. This is the most important thing to note.

In many places, there is a custom of erecting tombstones on graves, which is both a sign of respect for the ancestors and sometimes a traditional practice in Feng Shui. If the ashes or bones of our ancestors are the place connected to the earth's dragon veins, then this monument is like the antenna of a mobile phone, a medium for communication between heaven and earth, and an important link. So, you say whether this monument is important or not. Because this stele is so important, do not change the direction of the stele when worshiping it. Just clean or care for it properly, and don't change its direction randomly. If everything goes well and everything goes smoothly, nothing serious will happen.

(2) This year, graves facing east and west should not be moved drastically and should be kept simple.

Friends who have read my articles know that in the Year of the Snake, the Three Killings is in the east, which is a position with quite strong evil energy. Therefore, if the ancestor's tomb faces east and west, all rituals should be kept simple. For example, weeding, setting off firecrackers, etc. should not start from the east, but can be started from the northwest or northeast. If there is a new grave facing east and west built during the Qingming Festival, it is also very inappropriate this year. You must be cautious and avoid doing this unless it is absolutely necessary or there is no auspicious day.

(3) People who offend Tai Sui should not preside over solemn ceremonies.

How do you understand this? First of all, who are the people who offend Tai Sui? As far as I am concerned, there are two types of people: one is the pig, and the other is the snake. As for other kinds of monkeys, I don’t think they are in conflict with the Tai Sui. Friends of these two zodiac signs can participate sincerely when worshiping their ancestors, such as helping to carry things, buying flowers, etc., and it is also fine to burn incense, but they should avoid activities such as setting off firecrackers themselves.

(iv) It is not advisable to add or place new objects or plant small trees in front of the grave.

Out of filial piety, some friends place some large objects or plant some small trees in front of the graves every year. In fact, from the perspective of Feng Shui, it is not recommended. Because Feng Shui is all about dragon, cave, sand, water and direction. Is a grave good or not? The key lies in whether good dragon energy, sand, water and peaks can be brought into the grave. If a grave has good peaks or prosperous water, it could have made people rich and powerful. However, out of your kindness, you placed certain objects or planted small trees in front of the grave to block it, which would have a destructive effect. Therefore, try to place as few of these things as possible, and try to use things that can be turned into treasures, such as potted trees or stones, and avoid placing them randomly.

(5) If the three killers of month, day and sky are in the south, you should also pay attention to it.

Qingming is the third month of the lunar calendar, with the three killers Shen, Zi and Chen in the south. The day of Qingming is the Gengzi day, which also has the three killers Shen, Zi and Chen in the south. Therefore, regardless of the month or the day, the south is the position of the three killers. In addition to not making any big moves in the east on that day, one must also be cautious in the south, or simply pay homage to graves facing south and north.

(VI) What should I do if I get sick due to bad luck?

Sometimes, some people suddenly feel unwell, such as vomiting, dizziness, panic, or even falling after worshiping their ancestors or completing an activity. What should they do? From the perspective of Feng Shui, it is most likely that they have offended evil spirits and moved places that should not be moved. The best way to resolve it is to cover the grave with some old leaves or soil, or spread it on top. Remember, you must not use new soil or red objects to cover it, otherwise, the evil spirit will be even heavier. You must use old ones!
