He was not content with farming, but wanted to make a fortune, but he had no way to do so. One day, he heard about a Feng Shui master who read Feng Shui for many people and made many people rich. So Wang En found a Feng Shui master and asked him to find him a Feng Shui that would make him rich. But the Feng Shui master said with embarrassment: "Good Feng Shui cannot be looked at casually, and the secret cannot be leaked. Otherwise, I will go blind." Wang En knelt in front of the Feng Shui master and swore to him: "If you go blind because of showing me good Feng Shui, I will definitely treat you as my father and support you all my life!" Seeing Wang Sun's sincere attitude, the Feng Shui master agreed. The Feng Shui master searched many places and finally came to a stone wall and said to Wang En, "The other side of the river from the stone wall is a good place. If you live here, you will make a fortune." So Wang En built a house at the place designated by the Feng Shui master. A few years later, he really made a fortune, and the Feng Shui master's eyes became blind. Wang En thought: "It's not worth it to support a useless person in vain." So he forced the Feng Shui master to grind the mill every day. If he was negligent in the slightest, he would either beat him or scold him. The Feng Shui master regretted it so much that he sighed, "Although I can read Feng Shui, how come I can't read people's hearts?" A few years passed, and Mr. Feng Shui's apprentice came to visit him. When he saw his master's miserable experience, he hugged him tightly and cried, "Master, Master! You have done good deeds all your life, why don't good people get good rewards?" The master comforted him, "Don't be sad, my apprentice. I will teach you a plan now, which can make good deeds and evil deeds be rewarded. One day, the apprentice came to Wang En’s home and saw Wang En, and deliberately exclaimed: "Oh, this is really a Feng Shui treasure land!" Wang En said proudly: "You also understand Feng Shui?" The apprentice said: "If we drill three holes on the rock opposite, it will be like giving a dragon eyes and a mouth. Then we will make a fortune, and our descendants will become high officials!" Wang En believed it and was very happy. He immediately found a stonemason and had him chisel three holes according to the apprentice's instructions. Then he saw a pair of white cranes jumping out of the rock and flying away. From then on, nothing went smoothly for Wang En's family. A few years later, Wang En finally became penniless, but Mr. Feng Shui's eyes saw the light again. To this day, these three caves can still be seen along the road from the Nanbu County Bridge to the Shengzhong Reservoir in Sichuan Province. He is reminding the world: A gentleman is grateful and repays kindness, while a villain is one who removes the bridge after crossing the river. Good and evil will be rewarded in the end, and there is a god above your head. |
