1) Number of fish

Our current hotel designs are generally dominated by Chinese style. In Feng Shui, it is mentioned that "Heaven produces water, and the earth makes up six parts of it; the earth produces fire, and the heaven makes up seven parts; the heaven produces wood, and the earth makes up eight parts; the earth produces metal, and the heaven makes up nine parts; the heaven produces earth, and the earth makes up ten parts." Generally, the best number of fish to raise is one, four, six or seven, because these numbers are all beneficial to strengthening the power of water in the five elements.

2) Taboos of fish tank

1. The total height of the water surface in the fish tank should not exceed 1.8 meters, because if the water level is too high, it is said that it will cause a catastrophe;
2. Use running water in the fish tank, and the water should flow downward from the top layer;
3. The fish tank should be placed in the evil direction or at the point where sand and water are pulled.
4. It is best to use a rectangular or square fish tank, never a round one, because this will interfere with the wealth brought by the Feng Shui fish swimming in the fish tank.
3. Taboos on placement

When placing the fish tank, attention should be paid to the coordination with the hotel's design layout, while also coordinating the relationship between the aura and the design to increase natural aura. Traditionally, it is believed that fish tanks in rooms facing east, south, north, and southeast should not be placed in the east, southeast, north, and south of the hotel. For rooms facing southwest, northwest, northeast and west, fish tanks should not be placed in these four directions.
