He thought Jie Zitui would come out from the direction where no fire had been set. But in the end Jie Zitui still did not come out and was burned to death inside. Later, in order to commemorate Jie Zitui, Chong'er issued an order that on this day every year, no one was allowed to light a fire and could only eat cold food prepared in advance.
