Take a larger, deeper container, a basin of clean water, and a colander. Put glutinous rice flour and black sesame filling rolled into small balls into the container. Shake the bowl to make the filling evenly covered with glutinous rice flour, put it into the colander, soak it in clean water for three seconds, take it out, and continue to put it into the flour to roll it into a ball. Repeat this step about eight to ten times. There will be small cracks on the surface of the rolled Yuanxiao. You can stick them with clean water and then some flour.
