On the tops of the torches are colorful flags and "shengdou" with auspicious words such as "prosperity of livestock" and "good harvest of grains" written on them. What activities and rituals are there during the Torch Festival?The Yi Torch Festival usually lasts for three days and three nights and is divided into three stages: welcoming the fire, playing with fire, and sending off the fire.The first day of Torch Festival: Fire worship <br /> On this day, every village and hamlet will slaughter cattle and sheep, share them collectively, and prepare wine and meat to worship their ancestors. The third day of Torch Festival: Sending off the Fire <br /> This is the climax of the entire Liangshan Yi International Torch Festival.
