This statement is not in line with the principles of Yi, and it is also unreasonable based on common sense. Who would put a basin on their head? From the perspective of Feng Shui and numerology, firstly, wealth should be static and not moving. How can a treasure pot be placed at the entrance to be impacted? Second, wealth should be hidden and not exposed. In other words, things related to money should be placed in a relatively secret location. How can it be placed at the most conspicuous entrance of the house? Third, wealth should be gathered and not overturned. A treasure pot installed on the roof and turned upside down is a sign of overturning. This will leak money. How can you gather wealth? Fourth, the overturned basin on the roof is a symbol of the "Gen" hexagram in the Eight Diagrams, the so-called "Gen overturned bowl". Strictly speaking, what Feng Shui emphasizes is not the "symmetry principle" but the "balance of yin and yang". This is obvious from the Feng Shui theory of "Azure Dragon on the left, White Tiger on the right, Vermillion Bird in front, Black Tortoise behind" or from the arrangement and distribution of the "Innate Bagua" and "Acquired Bagua". For example, if the Azure Dragon on the left is Yang, then the White Tiger on the right must be Yin; when the south is Qian and is Yang, the north is Kun and is Yin; and when the south is Li and is Yin, the north is Kan and is Yang, and so on. There is an essential difference between "symmetry" and "balance".
