When talking about cemeteries, we have to look at the Feng Shui of the cemetery to see whether this place is a Feng Shui treasure land. This special topic will take you to understand the Feng Shui situation of Babaoshan. See if it is a Feng Shui treasure land. There are many legendary stories about Mr. Shui Mo’s Feng Shui that you have never heard of. Let’s take a look at them below.

Is Babaoshan a Feng Shui treasure land? Babaoshan is located in the plain in front of Xishan Mountain in Beijing. It is about 130 meters high and extends in the northeast direction. It is said that it got its name because it produces eight kinds of building materials, including refractory clay, white clay, gray stone, red clay, blue-gray, crucible clay, turmeric, sand and gravel. There is also a legend that there are eight treasures buried under Babaoshan. According to the editor, Babaoshan was once the retirement place for eunuchs of Ming and Qing dynasties for generations. It has temples, farmlands, vegetable gardens, etc. There are also the Revolutionary Cemetery, the People's Cemetery, the Laoshan Cemetery, etc. It is said that the feng shui of the location of the cemetery is good. Since Babaoshan has a huge cemetery group, naturally its feng shui is also very good.

There is a Feng Shui legend about Babaoshan. According to legend, there are eight treasures hidden in a cave in Babaoshan: a golden ox, a golden horse, a golden rooster, a golden roller, a golden mill, golden beans, a golden winnowing basket and a golden basket. A long time ago, there lived an old couple named Li who had no children and lived by growing loofahs at the foot of Babao Mountain. One year they planted a rack of loofahs, but strangely, no matter how much fertilizer and water they applied, it never produced any melons. Instead, the vines grew longer and longer, and when they finally bloomed, the loofahs they produced were thick on top and thin at the bottom, like an upside-down gourd.

One day, the old couple were enjoying the cool air at the doorway. A gentleman came from the south and suddenly stopped in front of the door when he saw the loofah. He looked at the mountain, then at the loofah, and after counting with his fingers for a long time, he walked towards the old couple. The gentleman bowed to the old couple, hoping to buy the only loofah on the shelf. The old couple initially said no, because the loofahs were for seeds for next year, but the husband insisted on buying them. He told them that he was buying the melons to make medicine for his patients. When the old couple heard that the job was to treat a patient, they agreed immediately and declared that they would not accept any money. Before leaving, the gentleman told them not to pick the melons if they were not ripe, and he would come to pick them when they were ripe.

In fact, the gentleman was not using the loofah to make medicine to treat diseases, but to look for treasure. He calculated that there was a treasure buried at the foot of the mountain, but to get the treasure he needed a key to open the mountain. When he saw the loofah, he knew it was the key, so he lied to the old couple in order to get the loofah. After the gentleman left, the old couple took better care of the loofahs, but the weather in the autumn of that year was abnormal, and frost began to fall just as autumn began. The old couple was afraid that the loofahs would be frozen, so they picked them in advance, put them in a wooden box, and waited for the gentleman to come and give them to him.

On the evening of September 8th, the gentleman came as expected. However, when he saw the loofahs that the old couple had picked in advance, he stamped his feet in frustration and said, "Oh no, we picked them too early. Now they are useless." But he had no choice but to sigh and take the loofahs away. The old couple didn't know what was going on and found it very strange, so they followed the gentleman down the mountain to see what he was going to do.

Mr. Feng Shui came to the hillside and drew a circle on the ground with a loofah. A door immediately appeared on the hillside, but only a small gap was opened. This was mainly because the old couple had picked the loofah in advance. After the door opened, the old couple saw that it was full of treasures, including a golden bull, a golden horse, a golden rooster, a golden basket, and a golden winnowing fan. There was also a golden millstone turning near the door, and many golden beans fell from the millstone. So Mr. Feng Shui reached in and took out the golden dustpan, but the gap in the door was too small and he could not get it out. At this time, the Golden Rooster also crowed. Mr. Feng Shui saw that the situation was not right, so he threw away the golden dustpan and grabbed a handful of golden beans. When he was trying to take the beans out, the old man came over and hit him on the arm. The gentleman retracted his hand, and all the golden beans fell into the hole, and the door closed. Mr. Feng Shui knew he was in the wrong, so he left quietly. From then on, people knew that there were eight treasures buried under the mountain, so they called it Babaoshan.
