In particular, he followed his father to fish and catch shrimps in the deep river since he was a child, and he had developed good underwater kung fu skills. He could stay underwater in deep water for half an hour at a time! That year, the mother of Zhao Laizi's master, the wealthy Yang, passed away. The Yang family held a grand funeral and naturally invited the best Feng Shui master to find the best Feng Shui site for Yang's mother. The Feng Shui master searched for a long time and finally found a good place, which turned out to be a treasure land called Dragon's Mouth in a deep river. The river is deep and the water is fast. How can we bury the body of Yang's mother? After much discussion, the whole family finally decided to cremate Yang's mother and put her ashes in a small wooden box. The next day, Zhao Laizi secretly came to Yang's house with the old man's ashes. He took the urn of Yang's mother's ashes and dived into the deep water at the designated location. Sure enough, he saw a naturally formed rock "dragon's mouth" under the water. He quickly took out his father's ashes from his chest and stuffed them into the "dragon's mouth". When he was about to stuff Yang's mother's ashes in, the "dragon's mouth" suddenly closed! What should I do? Zhao Laizi thought quickly and hung Yang's mother's urn on the dragon horn. Zhao Laizi surfaced, and the Feng Shui master had already calculated what Zhao Laizi had done - but this is also human nature, "The Zhao family is the emperor, the Yang family is the general, the dynasty changes but the generals do not." It is said that Zhao's father was buried in a good place, and the magpie quickly flew to the Yang family to announce the good news: "May the leper of the Zhao family be the emperor for thousands of years, may the leper of the Zhao family be the emperor for thousands of years!" At this time, Zhao Laizi's mother was washing dishes on the stove. When she heard the magpie's strange call, she tapped the clean chopsticks on the basin on the stove and said, "Hey, magpie, don't let Zhao Laizi be the emperor for thousands of years. Just let him be the emperor for a dozen years to pay off the family's debts. That would be good enough." This caused trouble, because Zhao Laizi was already a true dragon emperor, and his mother was no ordinary person either, so the chopsticks in his hand became golden sticks. The Fire Stove Bodhisattva immediately went up to heaven to report to the Jade Emperor, saying, "Jade Emperor, this is terrible. The Queen Mother of the Zhao family just beat me with three hundred golden sticks and said that the leper of the Zhao family should be allowed to be the emperor for a dozen years." When the Jade Emperor heard this, he got very angry and said, "In that case, let Zhao Laizi be in power for just a dozen years, and his descendants will rule the country for 300 years." Thus, the Song Dynasty had a history of 300 years starting with Zhao Kuangyin. |
